  112. System requirements:
  113. ====================
  114. . Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, or higher.
  115. . 32 bits TCP/IP stack. If you have installed the DialUp Network, the
  116.   TCP/IP stack is already ready.
  117.  
  118. If you need to run foxmail in Windows 3.X or Windows NT 3.51, you have
  119. to run the 16 bits version FoxMail. For details, see the help file.

  121. Installation:
  122. =============
  123. If you have the self installation package, just run it, and a setup
  124. wizard will help you for the installation procedure.
  125. If you have the ZIP compressed package, follow the steps:
  126.  1.Create a new directory. Fox example, c:\foxmail;
  127.  2.Copy all of the files extracted from the ZIP file to the created 
  128.    directory;
  129.  3.In your desktop, create a shortcut linked to foxmail.exe;
  130.  4.Create a shortcut linked to notifier.exe.
  131.  5.Double-click the shortcut icon to run FoxMail. 
  132.    In FoxMail's first time running, it will automatically create a mail 
  133.    directory and other associated files.
  134.  6.Enter the Options dialog to set your mailbox account and other
  135.    necessary information before you could sending/receiving messages.

  137. Upgrading:
  138. ==========
  139. As the mailbox file formats of 32bits FoxMail is compatible with the 
  140. 16bits version, upgrading from 16bits FoxMail is very easy: 
  141. Just de-compress this package in your previous FoxMail directory, override
  142. the old version files.
  143. If you are running the self installation program, just select your foxmail
  144. directory as the destination directory.

  149. specified in the license agreement (see file license.txt).
